Stage One
You will be allocated a clinician who will take time to discuss the symptoms that led you to seek an ADHD assessment, understand your life experiences and explore your mental health. This allows us to gain a clear picture of your difficulties and ensure our service can meet your needs.
Following the initial consultation, the clinician will advise whether there is sufficient evidence to proceed to the next stage. It will then be your decision whether to continue with a full ADHD assessment. If it appears the diagnostic criteria is unlikely to be met, we will be open and honest in our recommendations, and no further charges will apply.
As a company we believe in providing only what’s necessary, this approach helps you avoid the cost of a full diagnostic assessment.
Stage Two
At this stage, your clinician will carry out a holistic assessment by exploring your history, and current symptoms in more depth to establish the impact on your wellbeing and functioning across all areas of your life.
To support the assessment process, we will ask for extra information from someone who has known you since childhood, preferably a parent, sibling, or another close relative. Their perspective can provide helpful insight into your early development and lifelong experiences.
If it’s not possible to involve someone from your childhood, don’t worry we will discuss other ways to gather the details we need. This collaborative stage helps us form a clear and accurate understanding of your life experiences, ensuring that any diagnosis and recommendations are well-informed.
Please Note:
The assessment can take up to three hours however, we understand everyone's needs are different. Therefore, we will take the time necessary to ensure a complete and thorough assessment.
Assessments can be carried out either in person or online, depending on what suits you best.
After your assessment, your clinician will arrange a feedback appointment to explain the outcome in detail and what it means for you. You will also receive:
We can also refer you to your GP on request. While we don’t prescribe medication, we’ll guide you toward medical services and support networks that may help.
Whether you’re seeking clarity, planning your next steps, or considering workplace adjustments, we’re here to support you at every stage.
