About Us

My name is Simone McCallion, I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse with 20 years of NHS experience across inpatient, community, and primary care services. I began my career in inpatient care, where I developed strong clinical and interpersonal skills while supporting adults with complex mental health needs. This work broadened my understanding of how mental illness affects daily living and overall well-being. I later progressed into the role of Charge Nurse, combining clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.

Since 2021, I have specialised in adult ADHD, working in both the public (NHS) and private sectors. Through extensive clinical practice and specialist training, I have developed advanced expertise in ADHD assessment and diagnosis. This enables me to work as an independent diagnostician, delivering accurate, evidence-based, and person-centred outcomes for every client.

In addition to clinical work, I have contributed to the development and implementation of adult ADHD services, including pathway design and project leadership. I also provide advice and peer support to clinicians within the NHS to support consistency, service quality, and professional development.

I am passionate about improving understanding, care, and access for adults with ADHD. As co-founder of ADHD Collective Scotland, I am committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based, and person-centred services that empower individuals to reach their potential.

My name is Claire McKenna, with over 13 years of nursing experience in both the NHS and private sector, I have developed an extensive understanding of mental health care across the lifespan. My career began in adult acute inpatient services, where I built a strong clinical foundation in supporting people with complex needs.

Alongside this, I have held a variety of specialist and managerial roles within the NHS, working with adolescents, adults, and older adults. These experiences have strengthened my ability to deliver person-centred care in high-pressure environments.

Since 2021, I have specialised as an ADHD Clinician and Diagnostician, conducting numerous assessments and diagnostic evaluations. I hold advanced training in neurodevelopmental conditions and bring specialist expertise to this area of practice.

I have also been involved in the delivery of training, mentoring, and supporting the development and implementation of new ADHD pathways and enhancing local service provision. My ongoing commitment to specialist learning ensures my practice remains evidence-based and aligned with current best practice.

My practice is guided by a commitment to clinical excellence and to supporting individuals during difficult times, whether in crisis or facing everyday challenges. I take a holistic and collaborative approach, building trust and working alongside each person to provide the care and support they need.

Whilst working for the NHS, developing ADHD services across Glasgow, we noticed many of the private ADHD assessments did not meet national clinical guidelines. Assessments were often not accepted within NHS pathways, leading to unnecessary delays, frustration, and extra costs for patients who then had to be reassessed. With our extensive experience in the NHS as ADHD specialists, and our motivation and commitment to providing an excellent service is what drove us to start up our own company.

As an independent healthcare provider, we are dedicated to delivering safe, ethical, and evidence-based care. We understand living with ADHD can be challenging, and finding the right support isn’t always easy, that is why we provide thorough, high-quality assessments, guided by national clinical standards.

Our approach is transparent and clear, allowing you to make informed choices with confidence. Above all, your safety, confidentiality, and wellbeing come first even if that means recommending against further assessment.

At the heart of everything we do is a promise: to treat every individual with respect, dignity, and understanding.
